Cut You With A Kiss - Salt Ashes

We say

Released last Friday (9 October), Cut You With A Kiss is the latest single from RotD favourite Salt Ashes. We have been a keen supporter of the brand of dark pop since 2013’s L.O.V Anxiety and with each new release continues to impress. Her signature sound this time around is awash with clubby vibes against a distinctly dark beat. Produced by Louis Souyave and co-written with labelmate, Maddox Jones, the track has picked up some early tastemaker praise from Wonderland, When The Horn Blows and Alfitude. Watch the self-directed video here. She is currently in the middle of writing her new EP and is also in the process of preparing a couple of livestream events too. With over 10.5m combined Spotify streams and stamps of approval from the likes of Guardian, Noisey, Billboard and BBC Radio 1, Salt Ashes delivers another strikingly dark tune for your ears.
