GMC at the Mildura Country Music Festival

Later this week, the Good Morning Country (broadcast each weekday morning on the Community Radio Network) will soon be at the sunny Mildura Country Music Festival, taking place this year from Friday 27 September to Sunday 6 October.

This year, the team will be celebrating the life of Max Thorburn, (founder of Hot FM and the Mildura Country Music Festival) who passed away after the festival last year. To commemorate, the team will be broadcasting from the Max Thorburn Memorial Studio, to celebrate all he did for the town and the festival.

For the 33rd Festival, CRN will be bringing stations and listeners around the country a variety of special Overnights from Mildura, the Southern Stars Awards (Saturday 5 October) and of course Good Morning Country broadcasts over the festival dates.

CBAA Amrap Chart News

Sydney based GLO has already made waves locally and internationally working extensively in visual projects/music videos for artists such as Sampa The Great. Teaming up with friend and fellow songstress Saskia, GLO has graced us with her debut track, Self Love which is sitting comfortably in fourth place on the Metro Chart. Elsewhere on the chart, one of Australia’s DZ Deathrays serve up Still No Change from their newly-released album Positive Rising: Part 1

Leading the way on the Regional Chart, Canberra-based Andre Camilleri's latest venture includes his own interpretation of the folk classic, House of The Rising Sun which is sitting at number 2 just behind Melanie Gray with her latest, Drive Slow at number one.
