In the early days of Horace Coleman, Jr., Linda Lou Kestin-Mierer and Kenneth Howard Smith, the small Hollywood record label, and music publishing house that was distributed by Claridge Records continues to this day as a computer software developer under the direction of one of its original owners, Kenneth Howard Smith.
CKS has expanded into film restoration and first strike anti-protection computer software. Controlled by the Smith Data Communications Family, this small startup company has come along way from the days of music publishing and record manufacturing which was started back in 1975.
