Lex

Lex is a three-piece alternative rock band from Brisbane, Australia. Lex is the distillation of a number of former Brisbane suburban bands. The members of Lex have been playing around Brisbane since the early nineties in bands such as The Grey, Lex Rusten and Altogether Morris.

Lex now hangs out at LexHQ writing ,jamming and recording. Lex plays music that is a little bit subversive and a whole lotta fun. If you like your music raw and unprocessed, binge on some Lex and we promise you won’t feel dirty in the morning.

Brisbane alternative 3-piece, Lex has released a new EP for 2017. High Country Road is a 4-track EP which explores the band's alt-country, americana and blues-rock influences.

High Country Road is a  detour down a country lane - with a quick stop at the crossroads to explore their blues roots. It features new tracks (Holding Back and Shifting Sands) and a couple of old previously unrecorded gems (Stuff and Otto's Town).

Lex will be promoting the EP through the first half of 2017 and will be following up with a new EP in the second half of the year.
