Rumours - Ivorian Doll

We say

Quickly making a name for herself on the UK scene over the last year or so with her fiery wordplay, drill tension, grime grit and pop appeal is Germany-born, London-based rapper Ivorian Doll. After kickstarting her career as a duo with Abigail in the viral hit The Situation, she continued to drop a flurry of fresh tracks throughout 2019 until her first solo endeavour, Queen of Drill (QOD), at the tail end of the year. This ferocious and witty takedown of false accusations is her first release of 2020 and is building some serious momentum with over 1.6m YouTube views, 1m Spotify plays and almost 20,000 Shazams. It’s currently on the B-List at 1Xtra with further radio support at the likes of Radio 1, Capital Xtra, BBC Asian Network and Reprezent Radio, while Complex, Trench and Link Up TV are supporters too. Watch the Kevin Hudson directed video here. Currently featured on the official remix to S1mba’s Rover alongside ZieZie & Poundz, this confident UK drill upstart is looking set to be the first woman to cross over to the mainstream.
